How can I get some .gifs in Spartacus to convert to .pict fromat?

Is it just me or is it that some .gifs are not converting into .picts in GraphicConverter or CliptoGif programs. No I have NOT downloaded this before, I've just got it from The War Gallery and I'm baffled by this does anyone have an awnser to this problem? Pelease tell me if you can. Thanks!

You might want to check with the original author. The graphics might be password protected and read only. I ran into this converting the Peloponisian War Scenario by Alex the Magnificent. I wrote him and he gave me permission to have his partner Capt. Nemo (both of Red Front fame) to remove the protection and send me normal gifs. Once I had those, GraphicConvert had no problems with the conversion.
