Goto Command
Is it just me, or does the Go To command not work? the units gnerally start out going the wrong direction, or they just go from one square to the other, then back again. what gives? this isn't cool when you have a big map or caravans.

No its the command.Its unreliable at best.It was fixed(somewhat) in the MGE edition with a patch.The regular solo version is not too bad.
It has big problems with the coordinate line 0.The "Prime Meridian".
It does work fairly well over short distances.Railroads help tremendously.
On land when you get a problem spot where they go off to lala land,sometimes roading and/or railing an adjacent square can solve the problem.Otherwise manual guiding is needed to get past these trouble spots.The only thing that matters to me in a MP game is getting a good ally.Nothing else is as important.......Xin Yu -
