  • OS 9 and Civ

Emailed Mr Nesse on this subject. Got this prompt response back. It probably doesn't help Topcat all that much, unfortunately.

I assume you are asking about the original Civ II. I understand that one of
the conflict programs claims that it will have a problem, but apparently it
    runs with no hitches.

I am not currently aware of any issues with Civ II Gold. I am in the process
of trying to free up a machine for purposes of OS9 testing. Hopefully it
will happen by the end of the day.

What exactly do you mean by "mono rules"?
"mono has crazy flow and can rhyme words that shouldn't, like Eminem"
        Drake Tungsten
"get contacts, get a haircut, get better clothes, and lose some weight"

          Sure you really wanna know?

Okay. As in "Mono rules" and "Stereo sucks". It's the catchcry of my guru, God and idol, Phil Spector. Of "Wall of Sound" fame. The Crystals, Righteous Brothers, and so on, and so on, and so on.

Gee, have I just dated myself.
