My earlier post was incorrect. Here is the correct info. Additionally MacSoft is saying that CTP will be available in Nov.
CTP is currently in the First Playable Version status. However, that is not a consumer version. First it must go through alpha and beta testing before it is a consumer product. Westlake lists the CTP Shipping Date as Oct 99; MacSoft says it will be available in Nov. SMAC is currently in Alpha testing; its Shipping Date is late 1999.
