colonization - tech issues

ive just purchased Colonization - the disk came with both windows and DOS versions.

The windows version keeps crashing (the system im run it on runs Windows 98) Ive tried the DOS version, install with sound, and that seems to work.

Is it worth trying to get the windows version to run - the DOS version is pretty ugly. IIUC I would need to install the windows version with no sound, but im not sure how, as the install didnt come up with a sound option.

Do you have wing.dll on the system you run it on? wing.dll is needed to get col for windows to work.

There is a certain website whose name speaks of dogs that are below. Get wing.dll from there (at least I did).

Im not sure what Baruk Khazad is , but if they speak Judeo-Dwarvish, that would be "blessed are the dwarves" - lord of the mark
