I have 2 things to complain about this game, and they are all about the history and symbol of Persia.
1. The symbol of Persia (in the game) is oddly enough an Arab sword! This is quite aggravating.
The symbol of Persia should have been in the likes of this:
In other words, a true PERSIAN sign instead of an Arab sword.
2. In the history of Persia, it says that after the Arab conquest of Iran som 1400 years ago. Persia was consumed into the Arab and muslim world. Persia (Iran) then supposedly also loosed all its culture and heritage.
This is all wrong! Yes Iran has been absorbed into the muslim world, but it is by no means an Arab country! We are Persians, and we have preserved our culture and heritage despite Islam. Arab were kicked out of Iran only a couple of decades after conquering Iran.
All in all, I hope the Civ4-team deals with this soon. It is very frustrating for every Persian read what has been written about us.
