I think I've just died and gone to heaven. No? Heh. Oh, well. Close enough!

The streak of non-posting in this forum, Henrik. Go punish yourself this instant!

Regarding Civ IV, odds are I'll have the game before I have the computer capable of handling it ... but the window shouldn't be longer than a week or two at most (I've got a 20" Intel iMac, 2G RAM, 256MB video card, 250GB HD sitting on pre-order at the Apple Store).

No! Say it isn't so!! You're upgrading?!

Seriously though... it's a nice box. You'll be very happy with it. Congrats on your purchase.

I know, it's a miracle! But there's finally an addition to the Civilization franchise that looks like it's a worthy successor to the gem that is Civ II.

Heh. I've been talking about upgrading for three years now, and that day is *finally* drawing near ... no more than two to three weeks away, depending on shipping times.

Regarding the Intel iMac I have on pre-order, well, I'm certainly hopeful about it. I've already bought a David Pogue book on how to handle 10.4.x, since that's a heckuva jump up from 8.6. I'm reading parts of that prior to confirming the order, so I have at least a bare idea of what the new system will be like.

                      Civ rocks!
