I think it's clearly not France and likely not Spain, but I'm having a hard time deciding between the English and Dutch.

I like playing English. Love those immigrants.

I like playing the english (quick colonization) and the dutch (bigger&faster ship in the beginning).

I lie that the English got a much higher immigrant (emmigrant) rate.

The Dutch got a far more stable home-market.

The rest I hardly ever used. Except the Spanish, when I was just playing Invader

Yeah...the English were powerful. Those immigrants just kept coming, and you could build up a powerful nation easily.

English was too easy at Beginning

English and Dutch most of the time, you could really get a good colony going with the English, and the Dutch economy was really good for raising armies.

On an off day id play the Spanish, and kill every native I could set eyes on .. which was profitable .. for a while, until they all were dead.

i had my best games with the spanish when i got lucky and managed to get some good soldiers, or cannons early along with a galleon. for consistancy both the english and dutch are good but overall i like the english a bit better.
