    But it doesn't matter what my opinion of the reasons for his actions. However, I do appreciate him point it out. We get complaint PM's and Emails about a lot of stuff we miss... and we OBVIOUSLY missed this

      So we're getting hounded for something that Asher started and complained about, yet Asher is the one that gets away with it. If Asher is the one that started it, then he should be the one getting it from you, Mr. Ming.

        because they are sick of the poor moderation of mac related threads in the OT forum
        Apologies if you feel you should be able to have a circle-jerk of Mac users, but this would be an open OT. You can say what you want, anti-Mac people can say what they want. Yes, yes, you are frustrated that you can't just say 'look at these amazing Mac stuff, isn't Apple so much better than Windows' without people calling BS, but deal. I'm sure many people would like to talk about American politics without people from Europe chiming in about what they think about US policies, but they have every right. You don't see them clamoring for an 'American forum' or using some dying On Topic forum to have their all-American discussions.

        This ain't the place for it. It's a Mac-Civ forum. An interesting way to get the +1's, but now the mod has found out and the fun is over.

          Uhhhh.... you guys are getting hounded for BREAKING THE RULES... and that's the facts.

          Please explain why Asher is the one I should be giving it to. Heck, he did us a favor by pointing it out. As I said, we get little hints from people all the time. This is no different.

          As to his motives... not my concern. If in people's opinions, he acted like a little school kid running to mamma... they are welcome to them

            Makes me wish I had actually used this forum to boost my post count. My good behavior seems rather silly now that the forum got destroyed anyway; I could've been at Emperor by now if I hadn't avoided spamming.

              Ming, Poly should have a whistleblower law to protect the guys that point out posters who are breaking rules .

                      They all hated me anyway, now they have good reason.

                      Plus this has totally been worth it, it's been a while since I've genuinely laughed while at Poly.

                        I think you'll see how much of a gaming forum this is in a few days. Might as well permanently erase the forum now and save yourself the trouble of another trip back.

                        Save for panag and Asher, the Mac forum has less spam than most of the moderated forums. Seems like good behavior to me.

                          People that post it in a public community forum deserve whatever they get


                          He has nothing to fear; we can't really do anything to hurt him. I've seen pictures of his boyfriend and there's nothing I can say or do that could be more disheartening than waking up to that each morning.

                              Well, to tell you the truth, I had no idea that I or anyone else was breaking the rules here, and I don't think the others did, either. If there was a thread posted here that had specific rules in for this forum, this kind of stuff could be avoided.

                              Asher apparently knew this was against the rules because he is the one that apparently reported it. This makes Asher look bad because it's all part of his scheme to get the Mac users on Poly in trouble. That just shows you what a sad character he is.
