I want to know how to extract the music from the game or if I can find the songs already extracted somewhere on the net.

I don't know how to do it but someone should.

What are your favourite sounds? I like the musket sound. But the music is cool too.

I'm not sure... It should be possible, but I've never seen the sounds extracted...

too bad they didn't use midi files back then. just why didn't they use the same format as nowadays?

my colonization lacks musics alltogether, I wish I could get a version that had music.

The Windows version might have wav sounds, but the DOS version does not.

I actually had a hardtime finding the patch for itfor the German version (still haven't found it..........)

And I never saw any windows version of it...........

Well there was, in about the same time as Civilization for Windows got out (actually inbetween Civilization for Windows and CIVNET IIRC)

I can't even remember anymore, when I bought it. I know CIV I was first........then far later I bought Civnet, so somewhere in between, but only the dos-versions.........

I think I was still running DrDos at this time ...........

Ive got the music in MOD format, but not the sound effects. (from the Amiga version)

Someone gave me those links where you can find mosf of the tunes. Enjoy them.
