      Game 1: Donut World Map
      Rating: Disappointing

Those who might be expecting the classic Civ Donut World (which wraps in every direction) will be sorely disappointed. The map is simply a large circular pangea with a lake in the middle and an island in the middle of that. Essentially, it is a cross between a classic Pangea and a classic Oasis map. There appear to be only 2 of the hidden treasures, one of which is outside the donut, the other is near the centre.

For what it is, this map is a fairly good map. Enough water to make naval warfare useful, and yet everyone is on the same continent. In my test game on King level, playing as the Germans, I was flanked by the Indians, Mongels and Romans. The French were on the other side of the continent, and I only met them through naval exploration. I was constantly beseiged by Fighter planes from the Mongels, Romans and French, whilst the Indians, who still claimed to have not met the Romans, managed to pull off an Economic Victory, stealing it from the French, who in turn had stolen my Nuke.
