  • MOD: The Space Age Mod

This is a much expanded and revised (for PTW) version of my earlier Space Race Mod v4. Changes here include:
    • A completely new and rational modern age tech tree from the standard game. No more space flight before satelites. Robotics comes when it is still useful, and the spaceship is moved to the end of the modern age. See picture below.
    • Rationalized unit stats. For instance, caravels now regularly sink galleys, marines win against infantry occasionally, etc. Stealth fighters can perform air superiority, cruise missles are powerful, and air units can sink ships.
    • A new form of government - Neoliberalism (i.e. unregulated global capitalism). Corruption is communal, has standard tile bonus, but max war weariness and no draft. See the civliopedia entry for more info. This is the prefered government of the Americans, Japanese, and Koreans.

Just download all three parts, and extract to the 'scenarios' directory of PTW.

Can you post a zoomed pic of the new techs?
I will never understand why some people on Apolyton find you so clever. You're predictable, mundane, and a google-whore and the most observant of us all know this. Your battles of "wits" rely on obscurity and whenever you fail to find something sufficiently obscure, like this, you just act like a 5 year old. Congratulations, molly.

Seems to me like the techs stayed the same, just that they are switched around...

Well, at least it makes more sense.
Whew! I'm back and ready to start writing again.

3 new techs to handle the spaceship victory
The rest are put in a rational order.

This looks like an interesting mod. I especially like the addition of Neoliberalism.
You can't fight in here! This is the WAR room!
