  • How do you cancel a trade???

    Ok,

So some deals will cancel automatically after 20 rounds and some deals you MAY CANCEL peacefully after 20 rounds.

How do you cancel a trade peacefully?

    Thanks in advance...

Call the leader with which you have the trade. Then choose "we wish to propose a deal". In the bottom box (below the bartering box) there are two words, "new" and "active". click on "active" and then you can see the current deals in effect. If there is something like dyes (2) in that box, it means that the deal has still 2 turrns left before it can be cancelled.
If you wish to bring an active deal back on the table just click on it. It then becomes a common deal which can be changed.
For instance you traded dyes to your trade partner for some tech and 15 gpt [gold per turn], after 20 turns the deal is still active, because the "per turn" character of the deal. If you wish to alter the deal (get a new tech and 15 gpt for the next 20 turns), do the things I described and then bring up the deal. Then change the deal on the bartering table until it like you want it.
If you whish to cancel the deal just bring it up on the bartering table and click "never mind" or "forget it". That should cancel the deal.

    Hope this helps!!

In PTW there is also an option tn the preference tab to ALWAYS renegotiate trade deals after 20 turns.

There is no impact if you cancel after 20 turns
