Is there anyway of slowing down tech development with the need to add more techs?

Certainly, in fact there's several ways. First, in General Settings, you can increase the maximum number of turns to research a tech. In Civilization Advances, you can increase the cost of any tech. You can also go to World Sizes and increase the Tech Rate. The higher the number, the longer it takes.Originally posted by Deathwalker
