I am having trouble getting an MP game off the ground as host. Do I have to wait in the Staging window (after defining game type and mode and checking "ready") until someone joins? (Never happened yet). I want a 2-player game. How do I announce this if I stay on the Staging window? Alternatively, I can go on alone to the player set up (check "ready" and "launch"), define the parameters and then close all but one player slot (no computer opponents wanted), and check "ready" (neither "password" nor "lock" have been checked). I assume this defines the number of players allowed and announces the game (Can I see this anywhere to be sure it is visible?). But no one has ever joined the game after several attempts. I suspect because I am doing something wrong. What am I doing wrong? Or are there just no takers for my game?

How to host MP?

Yes, you have to wait in the staging room and people probably just did not join. Try to agree with someone to join your game in the first chat window (the one were you press host) before you start the game.
If you want we can arrange something in the coming days. Let me know by PM or e-mail or (less secure) post here if you want to do that.Franses (like Ramses).

Franses, I still don't get it. I cannot access the multiplayer player setup to close slots until I leave the staging window, and I understand you said players have to join BEFORE I leave the staging window. I must be missing something.
I am through for today, but maybe we can try something tomorrow afternoon or evening, perferably a short tiny map duel. Thanks for your patience.
