SCENARIO: New Earth - PtW version 1.09
author: player1
Introduction:
Your spaceship is destroyed.
Your colony pod was landed on unknown planet.
Maybe there are more pods with more people.
Who knows?
Your main goal is SURVIVAL.
That will be hard, since most of our tech-data is lost after hazard.
Also, we'll need to beware of the natives.
Some of them could help us, other could kill us.
Rules changes (based on "Player1 MOD"):
-Saltpeter removed
-Artillery needs Iron
-All pre-industrial wonders, Universal Suffrage,
Theory of Evolution and Longevity can't be built
-Maximum research time raised to 100 turns
Important note:
This scenario is based on PtW version 1.24 of "Player1 MOD" (aka "Patch suggestion MOD").
All changes done in that MOD are NOT detailed in this readme.
Extended version with improved civilopedia and tech screen can be found here.
New in PtW version:
Now, barbarian Riflemen is replaced by Guerilla.
Spain, Ottomans and Koreans are added as playable civs.
Scenario starts in 2100AD, and lasts as long as needed to finish it.
Some notes:
Barbarians are much stronger then normally (Guerilla and Cavalry).
Especially since in Patch suggestion MOD (on which this scenario is based on), combat bonuses against barbarians are lower (+50% at Regent and Monarch, no bonus at Emperor and Deity) and Guerilla has attack of 7.
If you are not experienced player, do not use higher barbarian settings.
Changes in v1.09
Scenario made compatible with new 1.27f PtW patch.
