  • A simple question

I've downloaded the super-humongous 256x256 world map and I want to play several gigantic, bloody, devastating games on it...

However, the map (it actually seems to be a scenario) comes with just the original 16 civs. Now, what I'd like to do is

    A) Have it play with all 24 PTW civs,

    and

    B) Maybe later add more.

So how do I do (A)?? I can add the 17th civ from scratch, but I don't want to do that. I want to add the other eight as they are in PTW.

Can I import this map into a blank PTW scenario somehow? IF not, just how do I do this without creating eight civs from scratch?

I'm by no means an expert, but I'll try...

*Open the Map in the PTW editor
*Go to "Import" and click the "Rules" box
*Import the "civ3x.bix" file under ..\Civilization III\CIV3PTW folder
*Go in the tool bar to "Scenario" then "Scenario Properties"
*Under "Player Options" up the number to 24; make sure all Civs are highlighted (this is the default"
*Save it as a .bix file
*Edit other things you want, like adding all 24 civs starting locations (if you need help on this, please let us know)
    *Close the editor
*Start up PTW are load the scenario
*Brew coffee and get a good book to read between turns!

    I hope this helps!!!
