I have Win95 installed, and I don't want to upgrade just yet. Is there either a way in install DirectX 8.1 on Win95, or is there a way around DirectX8.1 (I think I have 8.0 installed currently) for PTW?

I don't know but you need Open GL to play the game, and DX may work with Windows 95, but it is the Open GL of graphics cards that are current that do not work with Win95, but is on the CD of the game.
You'll have to read the Readme file of the game, and Microsoft at their website for DX to see if it works with Windows95. The game, needs Open GL, and there is a version that may work with it on the disk.
Its a graphic card program that makes movement easier or something like that.
