    I don't know whether this problem is well-known.

    When you have lots of strategic resources, you will find that those in the end of the list are less common than they should be, especially on small world maps.

    It seems like there is a limit for the total resource density, and that the last resources in the list are not placed when you reach the limit.

    If you have the original resource setup with only eight strategic reaources, only the bonus resources are affected. I noticed the problem when I made Cattle (which is a bit down on the list) a strategic reaource needed for some units.

    Currently I have added five strategic resources: Timber, Elephants, Cattle, Sacred Ground and Titanium.

    Has anyone else had these problems?
    The difference between industrial society and information society:
    In an industrial society you take a shower when you have come home from work.
    In an information society you take a shower before leaving for work.

    I have noticed this with fish and whales that are bonus resources on random small maps. I usually end up with 1 of each on the map and I add them manually later. Don't know why this happens, but it is anoying
