  • Adding new civ advancements

    How is it done???

Since v1.29 the add tech button is included in the editor, but it seems, I am too dumb to actually do it.

    1st step:
I add a new tech (absolutism) in the editor, start my scenario and it tells me, that the entry in pediaicons.txt is missing.

    2nd step:
I add the entries (small and large) with the new tech into pediaicons.txt (copy/paste monarchy and rename it to absolutism), start my scenario and it tells me, that the entry in pediaicons.txt is missing.

    3rd step:
I copy the monarchy-icons (small and large) in the arts folder and rename the copies to absolutism (and change the number). Then I change the entries in pediaicons.txt to the new file, start my scenario and it tells me, that the entry in pediaicons.txt is missing.

    What am I doing wrong?

I had a similar problem when adding advancements and I wish that I could recall what was wrong . Because I can't I have attached my pediaicons.txt below where I have added three techs. You can just use this as a template.

    Hope this helps
