Scenario Diplomacy

Can anyone give me some advice on diplomacy settings for scenarios? I've just created on a world map w. cities, units etc..basically a world war 2 scenario.
But I want to make sure that things don't go horribly wrong (such as Poland declaring war on the British).
Is there anyway to set diplomacy settings/attitudes towards other civs?

Nop you cant. This is the feature, what most of the modders wanna see in the PTW expansion. However as far as I know, its wont be included in PTW at all!
Lets hope that Firaxis will implent the ability to set the diplomatic relations and stuff in the first patch after PTW is released. Its almost sure, that this wont be in PTW..they added flat maps at least in PTW.
Oh well lets wait and we will see, but one thing is for sure.
The devs MUST implent this feature, because this is quite annoying that we STILL cant set diplomatic relations.

In the editor, under the civilizations tab in the rules editor, is the aggression slider. It will help some, but there are no guarantees.
