  • Destroyed the Iroquois

I took all the cities of the iroquois sunk all the ships, no cities for them exist on the map. I make peace with them and ask them to share world and territory maps but i see that they have no cities..

I conduct espionage and try to plant a spy in the iroquois empire but it wont let me, their name is off the list to choose.

Why can I still contact the iroquois? Why didnt the dialog box come up and tell me that the iroquois were destroyed?

The civ still exist but they have no units nor cities.

This only happened to me once on this game i am playing, I destroyed the iroquois in 1 turn and this happens.

Can someone explain this to me? How can I win the game if they still exist even tho they dont.

No - the game is over for them if they've lost cities AND all units capable of building cities.

In all likelyhood you are NOT using the 1.29f patch.

There was a settler on a Iroquois boat. If you sink the boat the game will crash. There is no place for the Settler to start a new city.

All guesses but they are real things that happened to people and resulted in the effect you are seeing.

        Cure:

Get the patch. Install it. If you can't do that because you have a non-english version of the game and the 1.29f patch is unavailabe then you might try finding a version of Gramphos save game editor that is compatible with the version you are using. See if you can get rid of the settler that way. Maybe move it onto land or something.

        Link to patch:
