Improvement/Wonder Art Problems

Im in the process of creating a new small wonder, Provincial Capital. In effect its another Forbidden Palace.

However, when I edit the buildlingsmall and large files and copy/paste the FP icon to the spot under the last SS piece (corresponding to its place in the bic) all the imp/wonder icons become black in my cityview.

Does anyone know of a fix for this?

Check to make sure your final file is a pcx, with only 256 colours. Also, it seems that some programs don't handle that format very well. There's a possibility that they don't register the colours in the proper postion in the pallette.

PS A good way to avoid such hassles is to use the Civ3MultiTool, and just copy an existing improvement. Yes it will look the same as the original, but how often do you spend time checking out the graphics in your city list? Just copy the Forbidden Palace, it should work just fine.
