  • Having problems Reinstalling

Hey there, I had bought Civ3 and played it for a while then uninstalled it. Then I put the cd back in and hit autorun and clicked Reinstall. The installsheild thing loaded then it asked me. "Would you like to delete the chosen files and all of its components" so I clicked uninstall to see what would happen and it said the same thing. Has reinstall suddenly turned into another word for uninstall or is it just me? please help before I break my cpu >

Go buy the game and then you will get help.

Piracy is VERBOTEN on this forum.

This place is crawling with pirates asking for help lately. No morals and, more to the point, no sense.

        Delete the Infogrames folder.
Delete the Installshield Information folder (it's hidden, so you'll need to enable see hidden folders in windows explorer)
As a last resort, got to Start Menu > Run and type in "regedit" (and press enter, obviously). Search (Edit>Find) for any references to Infogrames and delete them.
