More than 8 civs

I prefer to play with more than 8 civs. However, in the Foreign Advisor Window, there can be present max 8 leaders. Is there a way of initiating a "chat" with some civ that is not present in the Foreign Advisor Window, and with whom you have established a contact. I have figured out only two ways:

1) Right-click on some unit belonging to the civ.
2) Go to the Trade Advisor. There is a list of civs with whom you can and cannot trade. Double-click on the desired one with whom you wish to "chat" with.

However, I think that there is a third way, which can be done in the Foreign Advisor Window, but forgot how to do it. Something to do with checking how many turns is left for the expiration of some agreement.

I wish that you can see all leaders, so that you can have a view on their diplomatic relations. Can it be done?

SHIFT-right click on any leader head and you will get a list of leaders not in the circle. Pick one from the list.

Maybe its shift-left click. I have only played a couple of games with more than eight.

Yes. Assemble of team of bloody minded criminals. Shining Path or Tamil guerillas should do. Be sure they are experienced in corporate kidnapping.

Yes.

Exit out of the Advisors screen. Now, next to that box in the bottom right corner of the screen -- the one with the active unit displayed in it -- there are some tiny little boxes with letters on them. Click the "D". It brings up a list of all the civs you have contact with and tells whether you are at war or at peace with each. Double-click the name of the civ you want to negotiate with.

There's no reason to even consult the Foreign Advisor, unless you are already in the Advisors screen or want to see the relationships between civs.

You can see any combination of 7 civs in the Foreign Advisor screen by using shift+right-click, as mentioned above. Shift+left-click lets you highlight more than one civ at once, so you can see all the known relations of more than just one civ to all the other visible ones. A "show all" option would be nice here. But there is no way to see all of the civs at once. Usually, that isn't a problem, but there are cases where it would be very helpful to be able to view a tangled web of military alliances, ROPs, and MPPs all at a glance. Maybe they will find a way to do this -- possibly using a table? -- for PtW.
