  • Civ 2 to Civ 3 map translater?

Does anybody know if such a thing exists? I found a perfect translation of the Rome scenario map from the original Civ 2 the other day at CivFanatics, and I'm wondering does anybody know of a program that would do that? It'd be awesome if there were, the Civ3 editor is too slow for me, and working in Civ2 would be much easier, especially if units and cities could also be carried over.

Hopefully it exists/can be done. There is already a .bmp to Civ3 editor program.

I saw a Civ1, Civ2, CTP1, CTP2, SMACK (by now it might have Civ3) to BMP someware on Apolyton I think.
Was gone for two years, I'm back now.

Apparently it is possible to do this. I found a thread in the files section (Europe 100x100 map v1.0) where RangerOne314 claims to have such a utility, although I've never tried it.

          He lists a site:

where you can find out more.

I can't believe I remembered seeing this from so long ago...

          Cheers,

well, I got the Europe map I wanted, not sure how to work the program, though it does look pretty powerful.
