Added new Civ but can't select it

Added a new civ using the editor (Mayans).
Changed pediaicons.txt and civlopedia.txt (pointless - but a different thread).

Game loads ok, but the Mayans do not show up on the list civs when trying to select an opponent.

Went back into the editor, tried to set current player data. Same thing.

How do you get the new civs to actually show up so they can be selected?

Hmmm, the only thing i can think of is; are you trying to play a scenario or a new game. Try clicking on "load scenario" then load what ur scenario is called.

Double checked that. Using the scenerio they are in, they do not appear in the drop down list of civs.
Opening the scenerio in the Editor, they are avialable for selecting which nations can build what units, but don't show up on the list when trying to set player data.

Using only the official V1.29 patch, none of the fan utilities from here.

Editor -- Scenerio Properties -- List of PLAYABLE CIVILIZATIONS!!

Helps if you add the new civ to that list.

You aren't the only one who made that mistake......

It would be mush better if there were a checkbox linked to that option in the Civ-tab (so you could set it when creating a new civ).
