How do I add improvements, wonders, and small wonders without the copy tool in 1.29? The Copy tool doesn't work right in 1.29 for me. It says that my bics are not a recognized format. If I add them with the new editor do I have to manually add any graphics anywhere else?

    Hi,

You must first add something like this to PediaIcons.txt:
    ...
    #ICON_BLDG_Lighthouse
    SINGLE
    art\civilopedia\icons\buildings\lighthouseatalexan drialarge.pcx
    art\civilopedia\icons\buildings\lighthouseatalexan driasmall.pcx
    ...
This points to the civilopedia-graphics for the new building. You must then put in some relevant text to Civilopedia.txt.

Now you have to add your new graphics to these files
    buildings-large.pcx
    buildings-small.pcx
    in the folder
    Civilization III\Art\City Screen
These are beeing used in the city screen (hard to guess ).

IIRC that is what is needed. Come again if it dosn't work.

    Best regards

Now what about adding tech in Civ3 1.29 and giving the technology a new icon. Can I make my new tech show up on the advisor screen too? I have read Plutarck's guide but I think it might be a bit outdated now.

You need the latest version, 94. You may also have to save your bic files uncompressed, there's an option in the menu somewhere. Default is compressed.
