  • Non-Polluting Nukes?

I was pondering making a Vietnam Sceario, and i was wondering how to successfully impliment napalm.

    it occured to me, nukes.

nukes would burn jungle down to the ground, damage units severly, etc.

Is there a way to make nukes have no pollution?

    Currently, no.
The 'nuclear' capability automatically includes all effects that you're already aware of.

The closest thing I can think of to do Uber is to remove all the pollution/global warming effects from terrain so it doesn't do anything but hurt production on those tiles when there is pollution, and change the pollution tiles art to look more like "scorched earth". You'd probally also want to remove all the pollution from improvements so they don't show up without using a nuke/napalm. Only problem is I think you'd also still get pollution from smog/city size, maybe you could flag a basic improvement (like say temples) with the eliminates Pop Pollution option.

Thats far from what your asking for, but its as close as I can think of with what we can do now.
