Upgrade all?

I've heard this meantioned before, but I can't figure out how to do it... can someone help? I can't find my manual either . That's especially sad since I still have my Civ I manual . I have the most recent patch BTW.

Shift-U upgrades all units of that type that are in a city with a barracks/harbour/airport.
