As far as I know, the Bombardment is calculated like ordinary combat, except that the attacker cannot be injured, and that the bombardment lasts as many rounds as the bombardment rate.

Defensive bombardment only lasts for one round.

The difference between industrial society and information society:
In an industrial society you take a shower when you have come home from work.
In an information society you take a shower before leaving for work.
