CivIII Unplayable due to Invalid Page Faults
Welp, CivIII has become unplayable due to "Invalid Page Fault" error messages, either shortly into a game after a couple dozen turns or on startup. I greatly surpass the game's recommended hardware specs, heck, I can play the recently releaseed Morrowind no problem. I have a ratheon vid card, sound blaster gamer card, P3 500 chip, over 300 mb of dram all on an alienware build, but I still get these crashes on Civ III. I also have the most recent patch.
Does anyone have any suggestions? I called tech support a couple months ago, but the best they could come up with was to delete a number of my fonts, for some reason. Is this game just a piece of crap for me or can I fix this problem?
