    Unit Advancement

    I added one more level of advancement for units (with gramphos tool).

    I also find the entry for changing the names for the levels...

    Where can I find the entry to make clear that there is one more level to advance? and to give there some % to achive that?

    what do you mean 'level to advance'? Techs, or upgrading to a newer unit?

        Well, you can't the % chance of a unit being promoted, although you can change what effect promotion has.

        I don't know what you mean by "Where can I find the entry to make clear that there is one more level to advance?": the unit has it's rank displayed next to it on the map, it just needs a bit of the old subtraction to work out far it has to go to be fully promoted.

          If I understand it correctly, Gwydion would like to add an extra promotion level after (or before?) elite.
          I don't think that's possible with the editor.

              Your are right, I did it and now on the map there stands Green instead of Regular. Then I changed the text in the script file to "now your unit is regular" when it advances.
              But the effect is that the units made most of the time the step regular and the step veteran one after the other in the next 2 battles....
              And I dont know if it wores when I will make a new entry with promotet zu elite as 4th advantage because there stands:

              #UNITPROMOTIONREG !!!
              Our conscript $UNIT0 becomes a Green.

              #UNITPROMOTIONVET !!!
              Our Regular $UNIT0 is now a Regular.

              #UNITPROMOTIONELITE !!!
              Our Veteran $UNIT0 is now Verteran.

              #UNITPROMOTION.... ???
              Our Veteran $UNIT0 is now Elite!

              I changed the words in the second line and added the last Unitpromoten... but what to write there?

              And when I changed the ending in the Unitpromotion text it didn't work...
              So the advantage musst be set somewhere for that 3 steps....

              Maybe gramhos knows something about that, because his programm is able to add that new level...
