The editor dont work!!!

Hi, I keep seeing advice on these forums to alter unit statistics if the game dont seem right, such as altering cavalry movement from 3 down to 2 or altering the bombard range of cruise missiles. Problem is i go into the editor, save the changes i make but they dont take effect in the game. It used to work perfectly in 1.16, but on 1.21 it dont wanna know. Any ideas bar a reinstall???

Well it could be several things,

In version 1.21 the values are saved in the save game file. So, every time you make changes you need to start a new game.

or

When you start a new game you to need to start it with "load scenerio"

or

"use default rules" is checked.

or

The bic rules are now in the sav file.

You cannot alter a game in progress. Unless you check out Gramphos' Multi Tool
