Prefs: "Cancel Orders for Friendly/Enemy Combat Unit"

In Preferences, there are two options, "Cancel Orders for Friendly/Enemy Combat Unit."

Do either of these two DO anything, especially for the 'Enemy' option??

[EDIT] Sorry, just never mind. I just RTFM: "When enabled, our units will quit their automated order when adjacent to a friendly or enemy unit."
