  • Battle of the Bulge

The Battle of the Bulge was won because we stopped the Germans from getting to their supplies. We also bombed German railroads to stop Germany from getting supplies and troops to the front lines. In civ3 is it possible to use aircraft for destroying railroads? Can you fly over a railroad that doesn’t have a unit on it and bomb it (basically pillage it like ground units do). I know aircraft don’t have a pillage feature, but can they be used to destroy land improvements such as railroads, irrigation, mines, roads and such? This would be a good supply line destruction technique.

Yes. I think it prefers to bombard your ressources and communication means rather than your units.
