  • All new Units MOD

    Hi.

Can Someone make a Mod with all the new units only? (It means: no other graphic changes)
Every time I try, my game crash and need to reinstall.

    Thanx.

    same here.
it would be extremelly nice if we could put all the excellent new units, people like Dark Sheer and others have been creating into one single units-32.pcx.

Yes, can anyone familiar with the grfx stuff do this?

I'd like to see all the new units that people have made clustered into one file. Then as more people create new units, they could be added sequentially to the file.

This way, everyone's unit grfx mods would be the same and when adding a new unit, you just have to replace the old grfx file which would keep all the same existing units, and the new ones would just be tacked on the end, instead of losing the old ones or getting them all in the wrong order.

hmmm, I'm not sure I explained that well. Anyone know what I'm trying to get at?

also, since you can enable/disable units and change their abilities/stats in the editor, each mod will still be different - but if you want to switch between mods, you don't have to replace all the grfx files - just the bics.

Here's one, made up by SpencerH. It has the assassin, neomega assassin, star wars laser turret and tie fighter, amazon units, power armour units, grunt, apc, modern frigate, apache helicopter, stormtrooper, chinese junk, horse archer and a few others.

Great!. Maybe Gramphos can Help Us moving this tread to the files forum and making the PCX the official for Apolyton Members. In this way, we can add the new units in order and all of We will have the same PCX with the same Icon number for every unit.

That's a great idea - it's get more d/l's in the Files section, and I think that this is something that a lot of people are looking for. I use MS Photodraw, and sometimes the colour indexes don't match up with those from Photoshop. 'Dunno why though.

The problem is that the eraspecific unit icons has to be moved for each mod anyway.

ahhhh.... so all We need to do is paste the icons in order and put this eraspecific at the last posistion? I mean, in the last row of the pcx?
