how do I get this resource?

Can someone tell me how I can get this source of iron on the tiny island?

The island is made up of 3 mountain squares, so I can't build a city on it.

Well... What an uncommon situation As you can't build any city on the island, I would say there is no way to get it.
Maybe someone with more experience could have an idea...

since my border just expanded, the source of iron is within my border. A colony can't be build on the tile therefor (doubt it would make any difference), and I can't build a road from the tile to a city.

This really, really sucks because it's the source of iron that just depleted near my capital, and then popped up on the island. And it was my only source of iron.

Oh well, I'll just conquer the greeks then.


Still I think Firaxis should fix this, in whatever way.
