...on the main map view? I know it's not currently an option but is there something I can edit like an .ini file to force the game to display it in white like in the city view? This was an option in SMAC and it sure was alot more convienient than having to click open the city view just to see the radius.

I'm not sure, but I think if you turn on the grid that the citi radii will be highlited. -
