I have a theory. Have you moved your civ3 directory?

Can you try to run this program:

I ran it inside my Civ III directory. What does it do?

It should tell you what C3MT thinks your Civ3DDirectory is, did it give correct results?

When I put it in the Civ III folder and ran it, said yes, it didn't say anything (it even said nothing when I put it in another folder and said yes). If I say no, then it always says "Something is wrong with your Civ3 install, try to reinstall the game." I get those 2 responses wherever I run the program.

It should tell you what your civ3 directory is befre that other. Waht is the first popup?

"Is this your Civ3 directory? (YES/NO)"

Then, like I said, if you say yes nothing happens.

If you say no, then it says:

"Something is wrong with your Civ3 install, try to reinstall the game."

This occurs whether or not you run it in the Civ3 folder or not.

Then I just hacve fond your problem: You are missing the Civ3 registry key, and that way the tool (and probably the patches) don't work. Have you tried to reinstall?

money editor

Hi,

how comes there isn't any save game editor on the net that can change the amount of money (treasury) you have? Also, do you plan to add the possibility to add/remove tech advances?

It takes long time to add features. You need to know that it will work, you have to test with old saves to see if it will work with old versions or has to be disabled.

Also the effect of edited rules has to bee looked in to. It takes time, and I don't always have time to add things. I'm constantly working on to find out more about the saves. Lately it has mostly been compablity questions I've been looking in to.

Time for a teaser of the new tool member. It isn't working yet, but I hope to have it ready this weekend or during the next week.

The translaters have a version with all strings to translate, so I hope to have the translations ready by release this time. I've also fixed some bugs while working with this. More info later...
