You bet.. press F7. Also, F11 displays demographics and top 5 cities.

Very useful to know where wonders are under construction.
With an embassy and some gold (to investigate cities) you can determine your chance of building a wonder before another civ.

I believe f7 only shows wonders being built in civs with which you have an embassy, for which you also get a message when a new Wonder is started.

No, I think that you'll see which wonders are under construction for the civs you have contact with, though I could be wrong... and there is an option for whether or not to display the wonder construction popup I believe.
