One benefit I loved in Alpha Centauri was the ability to negotiate a peace treaty between two countries fighting each other. For example if France and Germany is fighting and you have a peace treaty with both countries you could ask Germany to stop attacking France or vice versa. Why is there not a way in Civ3 or is there a way to do this. Why can't I ask Russia to Stop attacking Persia or something. Thanks Guys
