reinstallation

hey i had a bunch of crap from old mods so i deleted everything in my civIII folder instead of unistalling and then deleting everything left over. anyways now when i try to reinstall civ3 it tries to unistall the program, then it seems like its complete but when i try to reinstall it again, the same thing happens and it wont stop... ever. so if anyone knows how i can reinstall civIII, itd be nice if you told me. and by the way there is nothing at all left of civIII on my comp as far as i know

You probably have somethings in your windows registry if you didn't uninstall it and only deleted the folder. There are probably clean up programs around on the net. I ALWAYS uninstall first, then delete what is left over.

Locate the hidden folder InstallShild Information (or something like that) in the Program Files directoy, and rename it temporay. Do your install, locate the new folder with the same name, copy all folders and files from it to the old forler, delete ther new floder and name back the old folder.
