...and not an unpleasant LSD flash-back, either
My problem is that I've found a load of cool images to replace the tech-icons (which I dislike) in the game and I can't get them to work.
I've got two .PCX images for each tech; one for the tech tree (32 x 32 pixels) and one bigger one for the cviliopedia (128 x 128 pixels).
My problem is that, once my tech-icons are substituted for the original ones, in the game the bigger icons appear as an empty, black square and the smaller, tech-tree icons as... well, messed up.
I'm guessing that this is because I haven't somehow syncronised the palattes of the images with that of the game. I'm using Photoshop 6.0, which I haven't had much experience with. Can someone please give me a few hints as to what I should be doing?
Thanks for your time,
Josef
