I have the multi tool and I'm trying to modify a map of the world to have mainly European civs, India, China, Japan and weak zulus, iroquis and aztecs. I can't get the civilisation placement thing to work, I have filled in the civs names and all but England still always starts somewhere out in Russia instead of where I said...

How do you use the civilisation placer thingy majigy exactly?
You have to edit anything on the actual map file?

The civplacement thing requires to be applied to the savegame at 4000BC, due to the fact that the game yet not supports civspecific locations from start, and as I'm not a ttrainer programmer the only way I could fix it was to eidt the saves.

Never done anything like that...
