  • editing corruption (which is still excessive...)

I remember that there was a way to edit corruption through the civ3 editor, i just don't remember the specifics. how could i get around to doing this with the newest patch? i'm trying to edit the corruption levels depending on the distance from your capital/forb. palace and the amount of cities needed before you have acces to a forbidden palace. is this still possible with the newest patch?

    Still the same as before.

    Civ3Edit > File > Civ3mod.bic > Rules > Edit > World Sizes.

There you will see a World Size List Box and a variable named *Optimal Number of Cities (corruption)*.

For each world size you can set the ONoC. The higher it is, the lower corruption and waste are. Set it very high and you will notice that corruption and waste in very distant cities are noticably lower.

One thing new with 1.17f is that Police Stations now reduce corruption (and waste) in the default rules.
