How do you post images?

For some reason every time I try to post an image with my message it says my image can't be any bigger than 600x0.

Ofcourse this is silly, but how can I prevent this?

You are limited to about 500K when you post an image.

Make sure the file size of the image is smaller than that.

you have to host the picture somewhere else and link to it.

The limit of the width to 600 pixels is to not screw up the view of the threads with images. Mostly you should be able to resize or crop the image so that it would fit within that limit.
