Call To Power 2 Cradle 3+ mod in progress: https://apolyton.net/forum/other-games/call-to-power-2/ctp2-creation/9437883-making-cradle-3-fully-compatible-with-the-apolyton-edition
Hi folks, new to the editor. Is there a way to zoom out and look at the entire world you're creating? Hard to get the big picture, forest for trees, etc, etc...........
As far as i know, even with the latest patches, there is no world map window in the editor. So you have to start a game and retire before you can see the overall view of the world... I liked making maps in civ2, at least you could zoom out and place land masses in a balanced way that looked natural. In civ3 they give you no idea.
The way it is now is bloody irritating. I'm working on a Middle-East map and any time I want to see the map as a whole, you have to start Civ 3 and immediately retire.
You don't have to retire. You do have to start a game and do a Save. Then, rename the save file multi.sav. Then do a Load Game, loading the multi.sav file.
Presto! You get the entire map revealed. Unfortunately, you still have only the two zoom levels (plus the minimap).
