Slow Unit Animation

Hi,

I have a AMD Atholon XP with 256mb ram running an nvidia 4 mx420 graphics card and the unit animations are slow!!!!

How can I speed this up? Anyone else having this problem?

I've had this exact problem from day one and have yet to find a solution. Switching drivers does not work, patching does not work, switching video cards does not work. Tech support has yet to find a cure.

Strange: I have Athlon 1.4 , 256 RAM and Windows ME and the animations are correct. But with the Pentium 3 800Mhz, 320 RAM of my brother, the animations are so slow.
