Random Lock-ups :(
ARGH!
I've got a really big problem with Civ3.
After playing a new game (or a save game for that matter), about four or five turns into the game, Civ 3 locks up.
I'm not too sure what's causing this, but I think it might be the autosave. I say this because if I save my game EVERY turn, then I seem to be able to squeeze out a few more turns and I have to hit the reset button on my computer case.
Relevent Info:
Civ 3 1.17f patch
AMD Athlon XP 1900+
256 MB DDR Ram
ABit K7G MoBo
ATI Radeon 64 DDR
Again, the problem happens on save games, new games, large maps, small maps, lots of civ's, few civ's (a very non-discriminatory patch).
